Our Brewery Wedding

For those of you who don't know, Melissa and her sisters grew up as "Budweiser brats," moving from city to city as our dad (Joe V) moved up the ranks. It's clearly where Melissa's love of beer originated: she was taught to pour a proper draft at age five, has fond memories of visiting the Clydesdales and AB Christmas light spectaculars and even worked as a Budweiser "ambassador" during and after college.

 

Naturally, the Budweiser brewery was one of the first spots Jesse visited in St. Louis - and has been back nearly every time since, whether to drink straight from the massive vats of beer on the brewmaster tour, attending "beer school" or enjoying the new Biergarten. 

 

When we decided on a beer-themed wedding, there seemed no place more fitting to cement our vows than the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Little did we know that a non-Busch had NEVER been married on-site - and that getting approval would be quite a complicated process. But thanks to lots of effort put in by Melissa's parents, our dream ceremony location has become a reality!

 

What Guests Need-to-Know:

Getting There: For those of you staying at The Embassy Suites, we will have a shuttle going to-and-from the brewery, as well as to-and-from the reception afterwards. For those of you driving, there is parking at the Tour Center. 

Finding the Ceremony: Enter through the Tour Center. We will have signs pointing you to the Bud Light Tasting Room and AB tour guides will be able point you in the right direction.

Do I Get To Meet The Clydesdales?: YES! Our guests will have the option of taking a private brewery tour between the ceremony and reception, where you'll see the Clydesdale stables and other historic brewery highlights. (You can also choose to go straight to the City Museum or kick back with some brews at the Biergarten)

What About Beer Samples?: Why of course! As our ceremony is IN a tasting room, guests will get their choice of two free samples before or after the ceremony.
